Manchester United, totally destroy AS Roma by 7-1, a team that is now second in Serie A. But again, United lost in the semifinal versus the only Italian side, AC Milan (which is third in Serie A). This lost also burries the chance for Manchester United to repeat the treble, one thing that is extremely hard to reach in the modern football.
But oh well, that's life. Forget the lost, let's strive for the double... Premier League will be decided this weekend. If Arsenal can hold Chelsea and United can beat Manchester City, then it is going to be really really sweet. Chelsea will have to do the guard of honor for United when United travel to Stamford Bridge :) After that United can beat Chelsea again on the FA cup final!
Yay, at last we are in Portugal! Do not know what you think, but in my opinion, Portugal is even worse than Spain in term of discipline and cleanliness. Still, they are far better than we on Indonesia are :(
We passed the Golden Gate when entering Lisbon (yep, it is identical with the one in San Francisco), and then went to a restaurant. On 4 pm, we were already inside Estadio da Luz! Hell yeah! ^_^
There are some games on the outside of the stadium, win a cap from a sponsor there, but many others also win this prize. Short story, the opening ceremony began at around 18.45.
The opening ceremonial was superb, Nelly Furtado came and sang Força, the euro 2004’s theme song. She’s pretty... isn’t she?

The game is on, and it was… rather boring I should say ~_~ The Greek defense has been a problem for every team, and that include Portugal. And then, it happened yet again. A quick counterattack from one side to another, resulting a corner kick. And Greek used that opportunities to score the only goal in that final match. 1-0 for Greek, and all the “Hellas” supporter gone wild ‘til morning ^^

Do u still remember last world cup? Yes, RCTI is the one that monopolized Indonesia broadcast. Many critics to them, if you still remember. Yet, they still do the same crime. Just like what they done before, they put a huge amount of advertisement. Not only before the kickoff or during the halftime break, they also interfered the match by placing ad on the bottom part of the screen - every TWO bloody minutes! But hang on, there are still many more to come :) Sometimes, they will just cut off some part of the match. You see, if you see a football match, it is supposed to be a 90 minutes of football action. But hey, this broadcaster was trying to change the rule. They change it onto 5 minutes of quiz, 5 more minutes for commercial, 5 minutes of silly commentator, and at last… 75 minutes of football with advertisement showing on the bottom part of the screen.
So… Dear RCTI, if you want to broadcast a football match, please broadcast it with pride. It is okay if you want to put on commercials, but please put it BEFORE the match, DURING halftime break, and AFTER the match. Not DURING THE MATCH!
