Everyone, I’m elated to tell you that Tumblr will be joining Yahoo.

Before touching on how awesome this is, let me try to allay any concerns: We’re not turning purple. Our headquarters isn’t moving. Our team isn’t changing. Our roadmap isn’t changing. And our mission – to empower creators to…

From Posterous to tumblr. Shall I move again? I hope not..

"Being negative is now how we make progress.
The regular Galaxy Nexus is too plain in my opinion. Across the pond, they sell the white variant - which is quite a looker! Sadly, they don’t come with the yakju build - which means they won’t get updates directly from Google. Of course I can reflash it myself, Google provides the factory images anyway.. but if I ever had any problem and need to repair / return it, I had to ship it back to the Old World. I don’t like that.

So I decided to get the Nexus from Play Store, import white OEM casing from Germany, and with the help of this teardown article from iFixit (plus their tool), I managed to get best of both world.

Yeay for a white yakju! Now where is my Jelly Bean? :)

The winding road

When there seems to be only one way out, truth to be told - life is ALWAYS full of options.

Or as Derek Sivers once wrote, there are always more than two options. He’s such a big inspiration for me.

This photo was taken on a walk path leading to Hayden Falls, Dublin, Ohio.

Two After Noon

Another fine fine video by WongFu.

How would you spend an unexpected pocket of time with a stranger? Two After Noon revolves around the idea that two people can be thrown together, be attracted to one another, and connect on a meaningful level— but still not end up together. That may sound like a tragic notion at first, but that’s only if you interpret it as an ending. There are no real beginnings and endings; instead, everything is continuous and ongoing. There are so many things in our lives that are indefinite. Finding love and companionship certainly fit into that category.

Be someone who love to explore and see new things. The world have plenty of things to offer. When things get rough, I know that there is He who always offers me protection. Maybe through this curtain airbag.

Enjoy the journey.

Beautiful

The best camera is the one that’s with you. Most of the time, its my camera phone.

I took a picture of this flower this morning just before I got into my office. I just use the standard camera app that came with my HTC Vision (TMobile G2), and do minor enhancement with Camera Zoom FX. What I did is just bump up the contrast and saturation, then added the round corner. Check out the After and Before comparison below.

I consider these git commands to be essential:

git status

git log

git clone

git init

git add

git rm

git branch

git rebase

git fetch

git pull

git push

git log

git diff

git merge

git mergetool

git reflog

git remote

git reset

git checkout

git tag

git commit

They are not in order. I’m just picking it up randomly from my brain.

OR

Well, you can start with this beautifully made git cheatsheet by Zack Rusin
